She sends me to a post office two towns over to see if they had it, which they didn't. But THEY know how to treat their customers, and gladly tried to track down the package for me. And, what do you know, the package was in fact at the Buckfield post office.

I walk in and without saying a word, she goes off about how I didn't "communicate effectively" and I should have told her when the package was expected and my name- may I remind you, the first time I asked for the package she immediately said she had none. I didn't accuse her of anything, I just wanted my package. And I sat there for maybe 5 minutes listening to her tell me it was all my fault.

Had a package held at the post office because of a snowstorm. A few days later they still had not sent it out, so I go to the post office to get it. I go in and say something along the lines of "Amazon says I have a package here and it's been held up for a couple days" to which she immediately replies that they have no packages without even asking my name or address (and also, no packages in a post office? Really?).

This office is not a place I would suggest mailing packages from. I sent a flat rate large shipping box out from this office and items were lost. When I brought the box in to mail it to Florida I asked the clerk if it should be taped because the box was torn a little right on the crease in the side from folding down the top. The clerk told me that it should be fine and didn't require taping. So I took her word for it, after all it weren't a big rip. Well, when the package arrived it had been taped up and some of the items were lost. I called the service center and they told me to file a claim and to go down to the post office and have her run a search through a database of lost items. So I went down and the clerk (same one) had NO IDEA what I was talking about and couldn't offer any advice or information. Went to another office and they did it. And their hours of operation are always changing so you never know when they're open. I just went down to mail out a package (I taped real good this time) and got there at 11:50 and they were closed. They changed it to 11:45, used to be 12. Their weekly hours changed too, 12:15 to 4:15. And the mail is EXTREMELY slow especially the forwarding. I moved here in August, put in a change of address so my mail would be forwarded should have been fine, right? NOPE. Tell my why I'm just receiving mail from August and September now?? THANKS. Really appreciate and WONDERFUL SERVICE...NOT!

Terrific service. The people at this office are courteous and efficient. Couldn't be any better. Good source of information. They went out of their way to handle my forwarded mail.
